ABSTRACT
This study assessed the acceptability of teacher-made modules used in Production Management subject in the College of Commerce, CPU. The acceptability of the learning kit was evaluated based on the 3 expert jurors’ and the 75 student-users’ perceptions. Using a descriptive design, the jurors were asked to rate each module using Ticao’s (1996) slightly modified instrument. The student-users’ evaluation was done by first allowing them to use the modules for one semester after which they evaluated each module. The data on the assessment was analyzed using composite weighted means. The findings showed that as to the physical analysis aspects, learning activities and evaluative measures, the 14 modules were very satisfactory which means that the major aspects of instruction or work are covered with above average standards as assessed by the expert jurors. Also based on the jurors’ evaluation, the objectives and instruction were excellent, meaning all aspects, instructions and learning activities- they found the modules very satisfactory. Using the combined evaluations of the jurors and the student-users, the modules were rated very satisfactory.
